Hollow Stone Figures by B Paral
Brian Paral came out of Green Bay and studied at UW-Madison, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Art and teacher certification. He has taught hat North High, and other schools in Eau Claire for over 20 years now. Most recently, he has completed a Master's of Science in Education and the Fine Arts at UW-River Falls. Brian Paral's work can be described as simplified abstract, both geometric and organic, but with the human form as inspiration. This expression is revealed through a number of different media, including: wood, ceramic, sandstone and concrete. The larger concrete figures are meant to be used outside all year long, as part of the everyday landscape.
